Special Baggage

If you need to bring special baggage, such as a bicycle, ski equipment, or golf gear, you can book it in advance for an additional fee. This can be done either when booking your trip or afterward through your tour operator's website. Please note that the aircraft's cargo space has limitations, and we cannot always guarantee space for all types of special baggage.

Bicycles must be packed in a hard plastic or durable fabric travel case specifically designed for bicycles. This protects the bike, the airplane, and other luggage.

Important: Bicycles that are not properly packed may be refused for transport. Liability for any damage is limited.

Packing requirements:

  • Turn the handlebars parallel to the front wheel.
  • Remove the pedals.
  • Reduce the tire pressure.
  • Only one bike per case is allowed, and no other items may be packed with the bike.

Maximum dimensions and weight: The case must not exceed 200 x 30 x 105 cm (L x W x H). Maximum weight: 32 kg.

Please note that we do not allow electric bicycles or Hövding bike helmets on our flights.

Diving equipment without air tanks can be packed as standard luggage if it fits within the size and weight limits. If you have oxygen tanks, they must be empty with the valve open. Small gas canisters for life vests must also be empty and approved for air transport.

Golf equipment is considered special baggage and includes golf clubs, a bag, balls, an umbrella, and a pair of golf shoes. The equipment is transported as a single unit, and you can book it through your tour operator.

Surfboards and windsurfing boards must be packed in a protective case with maximum dimensions of 250x75x15 cm. Only the board and its accessories may be packed in the case.

Water sports equipment such as wakeboards and water skis must be packed in a protective case and can weigh up to 8 kg.

Fishing gear is considered standard baggage if it weighs no more than 23 kg and does not exceed the dimensions of 90x75x15 cm. All equipment, including hooks, must be packed together. Please note that sharp objects need to be checked in.

Most musical instruments must be checked in and transported in the cargo hold. The instrument is counted as one piece of luggage. If it exceeds your ticket's weight or size limits, an additional fee will apply.
